The Effects of Humic Acid Series Products is different under Different Soil Conditions
Humic acid based products are suitable for all kinds of soil, but the effect of increased yield is different under different soil conditions.
The first is the organic matter content. Barren low-yield land with poor organic matter will increase yields. High-yielding rich soils also increased yields, but less than poor soils.
The second is the physical and chemical properties of soil. Applying humic acid based products on sandy soil with poor physical and chemical properties and structure, the effects of increasing production are particularly obvious. Studies showed that applying humates on sandy soil could increase crop yield by 17.1%-85.7%. Applying humates to saline-alkali land could increase the yield of crops by 144.6-150%. Applying humates to low-acid soils could increase crop yield by 39.7%.
The third is soil nutrients. Soil nutrient content has a great effect on humic acid series products on increasing yield. The content of alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen is low and the effect of humates is good. The content of alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen is high and the effect of humates on increasing yield is relatively poor.
The fourth is soil moisture. Humic acid products can absorb water and improve air permeability, good for crop emergence and roots. Using humic acid products on dry land can absorb water, and water storage, maintain soil moisture, reduce evaporation, and enhance crop drought ability. It needs to be pointed out that humic acid products are a water-loving fertilizer, the effect of dry soil with irrigation will be better.
