Humic Acid Enhances Crop Resistance
Plants will inevitably suffer from high temperatures, drought, flood disasters, pests and diseases, and other adversities in the process of growth. Humic acid can promote plant growth and improve autogenic resistance. It promotes the synthesis of plant proline and sugar accumulation, enhances the activity of peroxidase, peroxidase dismutase, and other protective enzymes, and modulates the physiological state of plants in adversity, such as the permeability of cell membranes, transpiration rate, etc., to resist the stress of external adversity.
Some studies have shown that humic acid products, when mixed with pesticides, enhance the effect and can effectively reduce the occurrence of certain diseases and insect pests.
Therefore, we suggest that humic acid fertilizers or humic acid products should be reasonably applied at ordinary times to enhance the resistance of crops, to reduce the loss caused by plant stress.
