Tips for Using Humic Acid & Fulvic Acid
The use of humic acid combined with inorganic water-soluble fertilizer can reduce the conventional dosage of inorganic water-soluble fertilizer by 10%~20%.
Mineral source humic acid has flocculent precipitation when encountering calcium and magnesium ions in water. In order to prevent clogging of drip irrigation holes, the time for drip irrigation of humic acid fertilizer should be reduced as much as possible to achieve low intensity and high frequency and ensure full dilution at the same time.
The humic acid and fulvic acid liquid appear dark brown or brown. If the concentration of liquid is too high or the atomization degree is poor, the water will often leave black spots on the fruit and leaves after evaporation.
According to the "standard of water-soluble fertilizer containing humic acid" of the Ministry of Agriculture, the humic acid raw material must be a mineral source of humic acid. There are two ways to identify mineral sources or biochemical humic acid / fulvic acid.
- Smell: Mineral source humic acid & fulvic acid have no taste, bio humic acid & fulvic acid will have different aromas such as molasses taste according to different sources.
- Color discrimination: Mineral source humic acid & fulvic acid are mostly black in color and bio humic acid & fulvic acid are mostly brown or yellow.
