Fertilizing According to the Texture of the Soil During the Spring Ploughing
There are differences in soil texture and temperature. Formulation and soil suitability are both key points to be considered when fertilizing. Meanwhile, a suitable fertilization strategy needs to be applied to make the most of the fertilizer.
Clayey soils are rich in organic matter, such arable land has good water and fertilizer retention performance, but the soil permeability is poor. Furthermore, it takes a long time for fertilizer to work. For clayey soil fertilization, the maturity of the compost must be guaranteed. Also, we should take early topdressing and decrease frequency. Lastly, apply more fertilizer when needed and avoided using nitrogen fertilizer.
Sandy soils are loose in texture and have poor water fertilizer retention performance. We should apply an organic fertilizer to sand soils. Since it takes little time for fertilizer to work, we should manure less often to avoid waste.
The performance for loamy soil is between the clayey and sandy soil, we should fertilize according to local climate conditions and crop growth conditions.
High-quality humic acid and fulvic acid fertilizers can significantly increase soil organic matter content, and enhance soil water and fertilizer retention. Therefore, soil texture and aggregate structure are improved.
